Yahoo! Unveils Blog

Jeremy Zawodny reports that the folks at Yahoo! Search have just launched a blog -- he offers up a mini-FAQ that sheds some light on the process of bringing this thing to life. It's an insightful post and I think the concessions cited are fair. At the moment, there's only an introductory post, but it's from Jeff Weiner, one of the top execs, which by itself is an interesting indicator of how committed folks there internally could potentially be to this thing. When I have some more time I'll have to take a closer look, but at first glance, it looks like a really good model for a corporate blog (e.g., comments enabled, multiple subscription options, a blogroll, a feedback email, etc.). If nothing else, it looks significantly better than Google's blog -- which BTW the Yahoo folks link to...
